In the 1980's, while traveling by car across Missouri in my job as the Pillsbury Doughboy, I liked to listen to Mike Murphy on 980 AM radio. Mr. Murphy was well known for interviewing interesting people. No one was exempt from his interviews. He interviewed ghost chasers, UFO proponents, every type of conspiracy theory extremist; fringe and middle of the road characters.

On one of my trips across Missouri, Mr. Murphy interviewed Howard Lyman, author of Mad Cowboy. Mr. Lyman came from generations of cattle ranchers in Montana. He was the type of cattle rancher who had thousands of head of cattle and thousands of acres of land.

But Mr. Lyman was mad at the cattle industry! Over the years, Mr. Lyman's family and his ancestors had suffered from several different diseases and ailments. As Mr. Lyman researched these ailments, he came to find out that the chemicals and pesticides and hormones and antibodies that he had been administering to his cattle were actually major contributing factors to the decades of illness his family had experienced.

Mr. Lyman was not mad because his family was sick due to the chemicals in the beef he ate. Nor was he mad that the ground upon which he walked and water he drank was saturated with these chemicals. He was mad because after researching all this he came to find that the cattle industry, to which he and his family had dedicated their lives, knew and suppressed information that these chemicals and pollutants where disease causing!!

Mad Cowboy and Mr. Lyman eventually made it to Oprah Winfrey. You can imagine the cattle industries response. Mr. Lyman was sued and Ms Winfrey was sued by the Cattlemen's Association. Guess where the suits were filed. In the state of Texas!! One of the largest cattle producing states in the Union! Do you think the Cattlemen's Association thought they might get favorable treatment there? Of course! But guess who won......Mr. Lyman and Ms Winfrey!!

After hearing the Lyman interview and reading his book, I stopped eating red meat!

Mad Cowboy, Mike Murphy and Mr. Lyman changed my life on that ride across Missouri. I became fascinated by how the body functions and how the food we eat affects everything from our attitude to our physical strength. The further we move away from the natural state of the foods that have been placed on this planet through creation, the less efficient our bodies work. The less efficient our bodies work and function the more likely we are to manifest dis-ease in our bodies.

Over time, I came to realize that My Mission is to encourage, teach and embody health, wellness and prosperity in body, mind and spirit.



Following my mission/passion, I have studied to be a Certified Natural Health Professional and am a licensed commercial facilitator for THE PATH workshop; developing mission and vision statements. I have completed 130 hours of continuing education at Unity School of Christianity. Two workshops I have developed and taught are; Why Live to Be 100?, and Your Body is an Antenna; How Finely are You Tuned? I have over 20 years of studying and incorporating healthy living into my life.
